DESCRIPTION:Downtown Greensboro is proud to present Art in Action\, a FREE two-day celebration of creativity and community in the heart of downtown.\n\nFriday\, March 27 – Gallery Night at Festival Hall (6:00–8:00 PM)\nThe weekend begins with Gallery Night at Festival Hall\, featuring the unveiling of watercolor paintings of downtown Greensboro by Charles Finley\, stunning photography by Matt Brewster with Marigold Solutions\, and whiskey tasting with Broad Street Infamous Whiskey. Guests can enjoy a cash bar and a special whiskey tasting experience (available for purchase). Admission to Gallery Night is free and open to the public.\n\nSaturday\, March 28 – Creative Walk (10:00 AM–2:00 PM)\nOn Saturday\, downtown transforms into a vibrant\, walkable arts experience during the Creative Walk. Visitors are invited to stroll through downtown Greensboro and experience:\n\n\nLive art demonstrations happening inside local merchant stores\n\n\nOutdoor artwork released by Greene County FFA students\n\n\nLive performances from local musicians\n\n\nArtists creating in real time throughout downtown\n\n\nBusinesses will serve as creative hubs\, allowing guests to step inside\, meet artists\, watch demonstrations up close\, and experience the artistic energy that makes downtown Greensboro special.\nArt in Action is a free event and open to the public.
