You can find The Yesterday Cafe in the middle of historic downtown Greensboro. This is a Greene County staple and a local favorite. Holcomb’s BBQ
Holcomb’s Barbeque opened its doors in 1971. With two locations, one in downtown Greensboro and one in White Plains, this local joint knows BBQ. The original location in White Plains used to be a sawmill, and there’s still sawdust on the floor. Some people say that’s the secret that makes the BBQ so good. Holcomb’s was also featured in Explore Georgia’s 100 Plates Locals Love for their outstanding BBQ sandwich plate. Oh, and did we mention they serve homemade cake too!
