Mardi Gras on Main: Jambalaya & Gumbo Cook-Off

The Greensboro Business Association is proud to sponsor the inaugural Mardi Gras on Main event on Saturday, Feb. 18th, with a Jambalaya & Gumbo Cook-Off from 12PM-3PM.
COOK-OFF DETAILS:
– Registration is open to anyone, professional or amateur.
– Registration is $50
– Chefs must prepare at least 5 gallons of gumbo and a large pan of jambalaya for tasting.
– Chefs must check in & begin cooking at 8AM. Tasting begins at 12PM. Awards presented at 3PM.

– Downtown merchants will be offering Mardi Gras-themed treats throughout the day.
– Public tasting tickets go on sale at 11AM for $5 per person
– Tasting and voting runs from 12PM-2PM
– Live music from 12PM-3PM

Event is hosted by the Greensboro Business Association, a group of downtown merchants invested in growing our beautiful town.
