Art in Action – Downtown Greensboro

Downtown Greensboro is proud to present Art in Action, a FREE two-day celebration of creativity and community in the heart of downtown.
Friday, March 27 – Gallery Night at Festival Hall (6:00–8:00 PM)
The weekend begins with Gallery Night at Festival Hall, featuring the unveiling of watercolor paintings of downtown Greensboro by Charles Finley, stunning photography by Matt Brewster with Marigold Solutions, and whiskey tasting with Broad Street Infamous Whiskey. Guests can enjoy a cash bar and a special whiskey tasting experience (available for purchase). Admission to Gallery Night is free and open to the public.
Saturday, March 28 – Creative Walk (10:00 AM–2:00 PM)
On Saturday, downtown transforms into a vibrant, walkable arts experience during the Creative Walk. Visitors are invited to stroll through downtown Greensboro and experience:

Live art demonstrations happening inside local merchant stores

Outdoor artwork released by Greene County FFA students

Live performances from local musicians

Artists creating in real time throughout downtown
Businesses will serve as creative hubs, allowing guests to step inside, meet artists, watch demonstrations up close, and experience the artistic energy that makes downtown Greensboro special.
Art in Action is a free event and open to the public. Whether you are an art enthusiast, music lover, or simply looking for a fun and inspiring weekend activity, this event offers something for everyone.
