The Plaza Arts Center

A community’s art scene is vital to its wellbeing. Thankfully for the Lake Oconee area, we have the Plaza. Offering an outstanding level of talent and entertainment, and serving as a central gathering place for local artisans, social and civic groups, it has become a major cultural mainstay of the lake area communities. The Plaza is also an excellent venue for weddings and receptions, banquets, parties, and more. Most events are held in the Reception Hall which measures 46ft x 28ft and can accommodate up to 150 guests. The facility includes a 500+ seat theater, front lobby entryway, gallery/gathering room, history museum including a historic classroom. The beautiful outdoor space includes a manicured lawn, trellises with climbing white roses, and a central fountain surrounded by brick paths.
