Take the good times outdoors this fall with a getaway to Lake Oconee. We’re so ready for cooler weather, pumpkins galore, football, and family fun! We’ve gathered up a few of our favorite things to do around Lake Oconee and Greensboro during autumn.
Autumn is the perfect season to spend the night roasting marshmallows and sleeping under the stars. The KOA in Greensboro features club cars, box cars and cabooses that you can stay the night in. A 4,000-square-foot clubhouse, two swimming pools and a white sandy beach make this the perfect spot for your next family reunion or camping trip.
Let the dirt fly at Durhamtown’s Family MX Series. From the young to the young-at-heart, there’s more than enough fast-paced action to cheer on. Put the pedal to the metal and experience competitive racing in a supportive environment all season long.
Nashville’s favorite house band, SIXWIRE, is joined by an incredible line up of rock stars!
Stay and play. The Lock, Stock and Barrel package from The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee offers sporting enthusiasts the opportunity to explore 20 signature clay shooting stations at The Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds.
Little ghouls and goblins are invited to trick or treat in Downtown Greensboro on October 31st from 5-6:30pm! Merchants, most in costume, will hand out candy to the trick or treaters. Kids will be given an official trick or treat bag to carry as they head through the town. Join in the Halloween fun!
The 2nd Annual Lake Oconee Showcase of Homes will be held on Saturday, November 16th. The Showcase benefits Greene County Habitat for Humanity and offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the most exquisite homes in Reynolds Lake Oconee.
