Indulge in Lake Oconee’s small town charm as “the big tree” on the Courthouse Lawn is lit for the season! Santa Claus himself will be in attendance, so bring the entire family to meet him and get a photo. Shops will stay open late for this special event and a few local choirs will perform. The tree will be lit shortly after 6pm.
2. Ice Skating at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee
There is nothing like ice skating during the holiday season! For the sixth year, the beautiful 6,000-square-foot Ice Rink at the Pavilion at The Ritz-Carlton will open Thursday, November 24 at 10 a.m. Top off a skate around the rink with hot cocoa or hot apple cider. Skating begins November 24, 2016- January 2, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. The cost is $30 per adults, per session and $20 per child, per session.
