One of the most special things about Lake Oconee is its love for pets. Your pets specifically. Most vacation spots discourage bringing your furry friends, but not here! We know your four-legged friends are part of your family and that's why they're treated just the same. You may even receive a VIP (Very Important Pet) welcome from resort pups, Scout and Copper when you check in!
The only boarding required here is on the water.
DAY 01
It’s the lake that you and your “fur baby” came for, so that should be the first stop on the tour. Take your pet swimming in the lake or on a boat ride with a Young Harris WaterSports boat rental.
Whether arriving by boat or by car, your pet will enjoy the views from Gaby’s.
DAY 02
Spend the afternoon strolling around Downtown Greensboro with your pup, delight in an outdoor lunch and wrap up the day with a few miles on Firefly Trail
Dine outside with your pet at Yesterday Café and don't forget to try their buttermilk pie!
DAY 03
Embark on an adventurous day outside with your pup. Hike around Rock Hawk and take a trip to Fishing Creek Farms to hunt, fish or break clays.
Dine lakeside with your furry friend and listen to some live music at The Burch x Boathouse.
