A Tasteful Event
Presented by the Greene County Chamber of Commerce

Restaurants from around Georgia's Lake Country will gather in downtown Greensboro to offer up a variety of tasteful entrees and desserts for the Chamber's annual fundraising event. Cruise-In Car Show
Presented by Greensboro's Better Hometown

Pull out your poodle skirts and saddle oxfords as Greensboro welcomes back the Georgia Classic Cruisers for the ageless Rock and Roll Cruise-In.  The band will perform favorites from the 1950's and '60s as more than one hundred classic cars line the streets of downtown. Lake Oconee BBQ & Blues Festival
Old Salem Park

Come and join us for some great BBQ and blues on the shores of beautiful Lake Oconee. The 2nd annual event will feature a Kansas City BBQ Society Sanctioned BBQ contest, the 2010 Sprintin’ in the Smoke one mile and 5K road race, as well as arts and crafts, food booths, and a kid’s zone.

October 23rd
The Many Faces of Reynolds Home Tour
Reynolds Plantation
Visitors will tour five custom designed homes plus enjoy a pontoon ride of Lake Oconee.  Guests are invited to a gourmet buffet lunch prepared by Reynolds Plantation Executive Chef Gerald Schmidt accompanied by live musical entertainment.  Tickets to the event are limited and must be purchased in advance.  The $25 ticket includes tour of the five homes and boat cruise.  Luncheon tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the event.  Guests will have the opportunity to win spectaular gifts in the Luxury Prize Lottery.  To preview homes, purchase tickets, and learn more about the Luxury Prize Lottery, check the home tour website at www.reynoldshometour.com.  You may also contact the Greene County Chamber of Commerce at 706-453-0380.
