What's Going On

Make a trip to Greensboro, Ga. for one of our signature events at Lake Oconee. Every month there are things to do at Lake Oconee for you and your family, a date night, or a fun time with friends. Children will enjoy our many events at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, and summer events at Lake Oconee help to beat the heat. Georgia’s Lake country is located only an hour from Atlanta, and is convenient for most of middle Georgia. Get out of town and drive on down to Greensboro, Georgia for a weekend to enjoy one of our concerts, tasting events or car shows. Be sure to catch our favorite Christmas treat, the December promenade.

The Rat Pack is Back

The Ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation is the perfect backdrop for this award-winning tribute to the original Rat Pack with all your favorites from the 1960s.

Southland Jubilee

Southland Jubilee is a day-long heritage arts festival that takes place in the heart of historic downtown Greensboro. Southland Jubilee is produced by the Greensboro Better Hometown Program and the Greensboro Downtown Development Authority with support from the City of Greensboro. Since its beginning in 1998, this annual spring festival has been downtown Greensboro’s main community event and has developed the reputation across the region as a quality heritage arts and family festival. The festival’s goal is to attract people to the town with the hope that they will return to the community and future events.

A Cappella Heaven starring Voices of Lee
The Plaza Arts Center, Eatonton

As seen on the NBC show, the Sing-Off, the Voices of Lee amaze audiences with their unique variety and exceptional harmony and spirit. The Voices of Lee is a 16 member a cappella ensemble from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Since their debut in September of ’94, their intense musical focus has captivated audiences worldwide. Directed by Danny Murray, this seventeen-member group is characterized by their unique variety of lush vocal harmonies, high-energy patriotic numbers, fun-filled audience participation, as well as heart-felt gospel favorites. All aboard The Linger Longer Express! Explore the grounds of The Ritz-Carlton Lodge with a ten minute tour of the property in our very own Linger Longer Express train which departs from the front drive daily. Reservations are recommended.

Wayside Ladies Speak
Union Point
May 18, 2 p.m.

During the Civil War, fourteen ladies operated a Wayside Home. These gracious Southerners gave comfort and medical care to thousands of soldiers passing through Union Point, Georgia by train and foot. When the location became full to over-flowing, the ladies and their families opened their homes for the cause. Three of these homes still stand. Come and listen to the ladies of Wayside tell of their days during the war.
